I would normally say TGIF, but this weekend starts the beginning of all my weekend madness. I won’t have a free weekend again until after June 30th.  Insane right?! Luckily for me, its mainly fun stuff (at least I am hoping). I am leaving today for Nashville for a two-day bachelorette party! The night we go out we all are wearing neon/70′s clothes so I plan on being a hot neon mess! I got some new eye shadows in that are really fun bright colors and I plan on using everyone one of them!

I can’t tell you how nice its been to have two weeks off from classes. My summer class begins on the 29th and while I am looking forward to being one more class closer to graduation, I am not looking forward to starting back up on the studying. Just two more classes is what I keep telling myself. I find it funny as I read back on the blog posts where I was just starting the MBA process and I was freaking out and stressing that I was never going to make it because I was terrified of going back to school. Now, here I sit almost at the end of this process and thinking how silly I was for doubting myself. Especially since I have such a strong GPA and had a ton of obstacles  down this MBA path that most people wouldn’t have. I must say I am nervous about starting the job search process in the next few months. Luckily for me I have a job that can hold me over for now while I do search for a new one. Needless to say I am pretty sure they never want me to leave here!

Speaking of work, since it is now the summer things have slowed way down here. I am starting my cleaning out the office phase and reorganizing stuff and shredding, tons of shredding! My poor filing cabinets are so crammed packed of old budget stuff its insane. I also want to get everything in tip-top shape for when the new administrative assistant arrives because I know I was confused as heck when I started here. There was so much old unnecessary stuff it was hard to find anything around here. My boss is a huge pack rat and I have helped him let go of some of that stuff. His desk is a major improvement and I am proud! haha

Went to the doctor this morning and I tested negative for strep and mono. Thank goodness. So it turns out I have a bacterial infection in my throat. Two days on antibiotics and I should be good to go!

I am not a happy camper this morning. I woke up with my lymph node swollen to the size of a gumball. It hurts to sneeze, cough, or even breath. I leave in four days! This can not be happening to me! I went to Health Services and they tested me for strep and thank goodness it was negative. She said its most likely my allergies since I am not showing any other symptoms but just a swollen lymph node. She said if I get worse to come back and they can check me again. But its most likely due to my allergies and I need to start taking my Zyrtec regularly. I must say since I took it today it feels like the swelling in the node has gone down a bit. I need to drink tons of water too and hopefully I will be back to 100% by Saturday. My poor throat is so tender right now and I am also getting headaches because of it. Just my luck I tell ya! But nothing is going to keep this girl from boarding that cruise ship to the Bahamas. My roommate can just drag me onto that ship!
